How is ultraGenius different?

Unlike other agencies, ultraGenius is a platform for hiring hand-picked developer. We assist fast-growing companies in finding, assessing & hiring top-notch full time remote developers using our assessment, referral & matching platform. 

Are there any upfront fees associated with hiring?

There are no recruiting charges. Rates that we quote are inclusive of developer rates, our fees, local labour charges, compliances, and HR.

How does ultraGenius works?

Unlike outsourcing companies, we connect you with extremely talented individuals from the entire India that can be managed directly by you. We have thousands of pre-vetted developers on our platform looking to work for top global opportunities. Due to lower overheads like having resources on the bench, office costs & other management costs, we are able to source much better candidates in the same price band.

Testing and Screening

How does your hiring process make sure that the candidates are qualified and meet our standards?

We work with experienced developers only. We screen talent for communication skills, technical skills, and cultural fit to ensure that they will be a great fit for a role-specific to the requirement. Less than 2% of developers who apply to our platform are able to crack the process.

  1. We screen candidate profiles to check for their past experience in working with products or systems at a high scale, educational background & overall fitment.
  2. We screen them via a live face-to-face video meeting and ask them about their work experience & interests to gauge what culture & environment they will be comfortable in.
  3. We go deep into their thought process & communication skills to understand their approach to problem-solving.
  4. We take a live coding assessment on our in-house platform and test them for algorithms, data structures & stack-related concepts.

 

Who screens the candidates?

  • We have an internal team of engineers who screens, vet, and match talent and a in-house assessment platform that we use to take live coding tests & MCQ tests.
  • Our team consists of engineers who vet & match talent based on their tech, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • We make them do live coding via a video call and also ask them various questions related to their stack and experience.
  • We analyze their coding speed and their ability to solve complex problems and their knowledge of data structures & algorithms.
  • We check their behavioral skills to assess whether they have the right attitude of ownership and can work in a fast-paced environment.

How are the profiles and clients matched?

We start with a 15 min kick-off call. To find the best match, during our scheduled call with clients:

  1. We work together to understand the client’s goals, technical needs, and urgent requirements
  2. After the call, your dedicated talent manager will send  a  couple of developer profiles that are most relevant based on manual & AI-driven matching.
  3. Clients interview the selected developers and check their assessments on our platform & hires them.

To be fair to both sides, we recommend companies have a maximum of 2 rounds of interviews at their end and avoid giving take-home tests. Companies can choose to take a live coding test during the interview itself.

Our Mission

How frequently will I be charged?

Clients pay ultraGenius on a monthly basis in advance and the amount is held in escrow and processed to the developer by the 5th of every month and if the developer also wants to work directly with client on their payroll, we can facilitate the same by charging a one-time buyout fee.

What mode of payment do you accept?

We accept payments via Bank transfer in fiat currency based on your country. We accept payments in US Dollars, AU Dollars, INR, and GBP.

 

Would their be any cancellation fees?

Though we hate to say goodbye – there is absolutely no cancellation cost. Inform us a month in advance so we & the developer can plan accordingly.
