Job Description

We are seeking a talented Back-end Engineer to join our growing team. As a Back-end Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust back-end systems that power our products and services. You will work closely with other engineers and cross-functional teams to build and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable back-end systems using Node.js and PostgreSQL


• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate back-end functionality with user-facing features


• Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support web and mobile applications


• Develop and maintain databases and data models using PostgreSQL


• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards


• Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of our back-end systems


• Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and non-production environments


• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development and make recommendations for improvements

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in back-end development using Node.js and PostgreSQL


• Strong knowledge of server-side JavaScript programming and asynchronous programming concepts


• Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with front-end applications


• Knowledge of database design and data modeling using PostgreSQL


• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment using AWS or similar platforms


• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and software development lifecycle


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
